Dios bendiga a America!!
Translation for non-Americans:As we head into the holiday weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to write this blog entry in the language of our country’s founding fathers. After all, there is no holiday that is more American than Independence Day.
Like every true patriot, I will celebrate this holiday by barbequing steak, getting shitfaced on beer, and watching fireworks at night. And then my girlfriend Maria will drive us home so we can make our own fireworks in our bedroom.
Have a happy and safe Independence Day!! God bless America!!

Their flavor is hot!
Cómo se dice "get shitfaced" en el español? Caramierda? Mierdacara? Creo que hay una palabra, no?
En tu honor, leeia todo esto texto en la lingua de los padres fundadores que la majoridad de los Americanos parecen olvidar. Haces un muy buon punto, hahaha, y me gusta mucho esto... pues... "entrada" de blog? Como se dice "entry" en espanol?
Soy shitty al espanol, pero bravo, hahahaha.
Espero que tu haces muchos fuegos artificos, lol. (Though dude... I thought "espero" was to wait... but I mean "I hope". Correct me if I'm wrong, lol)
lmfao. I'm pretty sure Spanish-speakers don't actually use "cabeza" (which literally means "head") the same way WE use head (which means both literally "head," and "to travel in a particular direction").
Also, you used the plural form of "vacation" instead of the singular.
And "verdadero patriota" should be "patriota verdadero" (or perhaps "patriota auténtico").
And "esta" in "esta entrada" should have an accent over the E. Same with "esta fiesta."
(Man, did you just plug your blurb into some crappy online translator or something? lol.)
Also, the Spaniards didn't found America. I'm hoping this was a sarcastic little joke on your part; otherwise I'd have to question your intelligence. :P
Nice try, though. <333
Hehehe... have a blast!
Alas, the mighty Babel fish, or at least the Alta Vista version, is imperfect. (How could it not translate 'shitfaced'? It's an integral part of our vocabularies!)
Is this because you don't know Cherokee?
Iqual. Y Dios bendiga a America.
You ARE mexican! I knew it!
@kaiori - lol. Try Filipino.
This comment has NOTHING to do w/ this post, but I thought of you when I saw it on FML :)
Today,
at work, a woman came up to the counter and asked if we made sweet and
sour chicken. Before I could answer, she told me a really long recipe
and said "I expect to see this on the menu next time I come in, or I
will complain to the manager about your lousy work ethic". I work at
Starbucks. FML
Happy Weekend!!
